Provide comforts of home and “firsts” to families in the NICU. Bring some brightness to a tough time. The admittance bags will be provided to each family admitted to the Children’s Hospital Colorado, Colorado Springs with a preemie that is anticipated to have a 10+ week long NICU stay.

One small way we gave back to staff during our stay was to have a basket with snacks and other goodies that staff can treat themselves to as they wish. To continue giving back, Fragile Beginnings will provide a similar basket of snacks and other goodies to NICU staff.

Provide donations to help support breastfeeding moms, including flange sizes the hospital does not stock, hot/cool pads, pumping bras, breastfeeding pillows, and a hospital grade pump to be loaned to moms that do not have a pump at home.
